In order to give you a clear view of the differences between the LuslusHouse product and the retail, we intentionally photographed them under three different types of lighting.
We believe few factories would be confident enough to present such a direct comparison — especially in terms of suede texture and color accuracy.

The suede tone may look different depending on the phone and lighting used in the photos — that’s totally normal.
What sets our pair apart from lower-quality batches is this:
Other versions often use overly smooth or overly bright suede, which doesn’t match the original.
For Mocha suede, it’s not about how strong or dark the shading looks.
What really matters is the fine grainy texture, combined with a balanced, natural-looking fade — not too light, not too heavy.
Also pay attention to the overall shape, the stitching technique, and construction.
Chasing an exaggerated suede contrast might look flashy, but if it doesn’t match the retail version, even strong brush marks won’t matter.

The suede we use comes from a premium Taiwanese supplier known as “Sanbenjiu” — a material exclusively sourced by us and not available on the open market.
Each hide has a usage rate of less than 60%, with the remaining 40% discarded due to strict quality control. Even though this drives up the cost, we remain committed to our vision of delivering a true 1:1 result.
The retail version uses Sanbenjiu suede with a second-phase benzene dyeing process from Taiwan — not PA Bailey or Simona.
To our knowledge, most factories on the market use cheaper first-phase dyed suede from mainland China, which offers higher yield and lower cost.
However, the results are visibly inferior — showing uneven color, lacking texture, and with an overly smooth, artificial finish.
We don’t rely on fancy words to prove what we do — our work speaks for itself.
Below, we’ll break down in detail how our factory handcrafts this pair step by step.

Genuine original die Serialized with ID and date CNC precision-milled
(This set of dies is the authentic tooling for the TS Mocha highs – any CNC pro will recognize the material and finish at a glance.)
As for the red Jordan tag, we use the exact same Coats thread (the same color code as retail) — the official high-quality thread used in the original version.
Take a closer look — these are our finished tags with complete patterns.
You can clearly see the level of embroidery craftsmanship.
Each approved piece receives a label with a code, meaning it’s passed our quality check and is ready to use.
If we find any flaws — even small stitching defects or slight misalignment — during inspection, we reject it immediately and remake it from scratch.
Once perfect, it gets re-labeled with a code.
We admit — we’re perfectionists. Even the tiniest flaw is unacceptable to us.
Next, let’s take a look at the comparison between our heel and the retail version.
As you can see in the photos, even under different lighting conditions, the quality and color of our suede match the retail version extremely well.
👉 Zoom in to see the suede’s fine texture — we’ve matched the retail’s level of grain and softness perfectly, resulting in a nearly identical visual feel.
We also put a lot of effort into perfecting the stitching.
For the thread, we use a deep mocha color from Coats, the same high-end thread brand used in the original.
We care deeply about the overall shape and stitching of the shoes.
To us, overall visual impression is more important than micro-level details.
Even if the small details are done well, if the stitching and structure don’t feel like the retail version, the shoe will still look fake at first glance.
This is actually a simple issue — it just takes consistent comparison with retail pairs and repeated adjustments.
Unfortunately, many other batches tend to overlook this part.
Let’s continue and take a closer look at the key steps in making the Nike Swoosh.
The shape of the Swoosh isn’t a challenge for us —
But here’s something important to watch for → pay close attention to the stitch spacing and the needle marks!
And finally, here’s a side-by-side comparison between our version and the retail one.
The retail pair has been used for mold referencing and frequent comparisons in the studio, and since it’s been stored for a while, it’s gotten a bit dirty. More comparison Check our other blog.
This wraps up our blog.
We hope that while reading through this, you’ve gotten a real sense of the time, care, and craftsmanship we put into each pair.
From technique and process to factory standards — we push every detail toward perfection, all to make sure you’re 100% satisfied.
